How do the UV black lights work?

Our UV Black Lights emit an ultraviolet light that is not visible to the human eye until it reacts with white and fluorescent colours.

When this ultraviolet light meets white or fluorescent materials or surfaces it causes them to 'glow-in-the-dark', the more white or fluorescent paint, clothing and decorations you use, the greater the effect!
How many will I need for my event?

This depends on the size of the area you wish to illuminate in ultraviolet light. Each pair of UV Black Lights approximately covers a 6m x 6m area.

Do they work in daylight or does it need to be dark?

UV Black Lights are most effective in low-light or dark environments because their effectiveness depends on the contrast between the emitted UV light and the fluorescence of UV-reactive materials.

In daylight or well-lit conditions, the UV lights can be significantly diluted by the ambient light, making fluorescence less visible or barely even noticeable.
I’m getting other lights well, will they still be effective?
